Pastor's Bible Class

This adult ministry is designed to help strenthen your faith in JESUS CHRIST,
while also strenghtening the bonds of marriage, Christian life and family. You will share experiences, learning and worship that will help you grow spiritually and discover GOD's Will for you personally and your family.

Youth Impact

Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

The purpose of the local church youth ministry is to help equip families with the necessary tools from God's Word to lay the right foundation for the rest of life. It is of our task to take the place of parents by keeping young people active while separated from home and family. We must work to help entire families serve the Lord together. The essential for the youth minister is to walk with God and work with parents.

Children's Sunday School

Children are a gift from God. They are given to parents, and it is the responsibility of parents to give their children back to God. Giving a child to God involves first the surrender of the parents' will to the will of God.

Preschool

Nothing serves as so precious a reminder of God's blessing to us as the birth of a child. Every newborn baby should have the joy and privilege of being brought into a truly Christian home. It is the responsibility of the local church nursery and preschool ministry to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord, bring their children to church, and teach their children to know God. With all the attention given to the physical facilities of the nursery and preschool, let us never forget the vital importance of the Christian Family.

Children's Church

We believe children should be taught to worship at their own level and within their own setting. Landmark's Children's Church seeks to 'win the lost' and disciple the children so that 'when they are old they will not depart from it.'

Youth Camp

Each summer we conduct community wide fund raising activities to send our 'kids' to Youth Camp.  This camp is organized to both evangelize as well as disciple our young people.  Our youth today  face tremendous challenges and tempations in their lives and our goal is to prepare them spiritually for their future.

Vacation Bible School



Landmark Ladies of Faith

The 'ladies' of Landmark meet at least quarterly to fellowship around 'GOD's Word' learning how to apply Biblical Principles to their individual lives and to their families.  This ministry is open to all ladies of our community and a nursery is provided.  Check our calendar for the dates of our next meeting.

'SEEDS' Ministry

Psalm 126:6, "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."

This ministry provides 'free' toiletries and household items to those in need.  Beginning September 13,2010 the weekly seeds will be moving to mondays instead of  Tuesdays...the time will still be the same, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church.  Call the church number for more information.  While it is an 'application' process it is free to those that qualify. 

"I Will Build My Church Ministry"

This ministry is directed by Dr. Don Smith our founding Pastor and is 'church based' focusing on helping struggling churches and planting churches in communities where a Gospel witness is not present.  Dr. Smith and his wife help these churches on faith and are available to help young churches and struggling churches with organization and dealing with their community leaders.  For information on how to contact Dr. Smith go to the web site http://www.GarrettBaptistChurch.Com.
