About Landmark Independent Baptist Church

We are an Independent Baptist Church located in Corsicana, Texas. Take the State Highway 31 exit from Interstate 45 and follow it West into Corsicana.  Follow Highway 31 through the city several miles until you reach Wal-Mart on the left.  Continue for 1/2 mile and the church will be on the left next to the RV Park.

Our church facilities, are located at 4429 West Highway 31 (7th Avenue). Our Church was founded in 2002 in the Landmark Merchant's Opry House building on Beaton Street in the Historic District.  We moved to our current location in August 2006.  We selected the name Landmark to highlight our Texas Landmark building.  We are not associated with any Landmark fellowship.

There are more than 15,000 independent Baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide.

Every independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self-governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church.

At the Landmark Independent Baptist Church we have one message-the message of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and one ministry-the ministry HE has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  We maintain a family of missionaries supported through the giving of our members.  And we are faithfully pursuing a ministry of planting 'like' independent baptist churches within our state.
